What is a Third Space?
According to the Brookings Institute, the term third space was coined by sociologist Ray Oldenburg and refers to "places where people spend time between home ('first' place) and work ('second' place). ... They are locations where we exchange ideas, have a good time, and build relationships."
Why a Third Space?
All communities need a place to just be, to see cool things, maybe to purchase cool things as gifts. We all need a place to just relax and meet amazing people!
